WO2 WW Bigoray - 7 Sqn - Apr 27 1944
I have been researching the military service of William Walter Bigoray in WW2. He was involved with 1474 Flight's Lichtenstein radar interception flight which earned him a DFM. He was also severely wounded, hospitalized and upon return to active duty eventually ended up with 7 Sqn (TOS Jan. 29, 1944). He was subsequently killed when his Lancaster JB676 MG-K, piloted by W/C William Guy Lockhart, was shot down on April 27/28, 1944 on a raid over Friedrichschafen. The entire crew was killed. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many missions, and over which targets, this crew flew with 7 Sqn prior to being shot down.

Have you checked the watermarked ORB's on the UK National Archives? Should let you find the answer.
I made up a guide to using them http://www.ww2irishaviation.com/TNA_...guidelines.pdf |
