I stand by the 'crazy' moniker. Just look at what happens when the two Stoffs are combined!

The two Stoffs are hypergolic, meaning they ignite on contact. Again, if fighting for my country...

Agreed. I knew a Luftwaffe pilot here many years ago, who had done mostly gliding trials with the 163, but also a couple of 'sharp' starts. He said it was pretty scary.
