Mission Reports Zerstörergeschwader 76

Hi,
I'm tracking every possible trace on the internet to get to areas of the ZG76. You can find many other reports, but nothing from ZG76. There should be daily reports written about the missions, targets, losses etc.. Could it really be that they no longer exist?
Especially 1944 would be of interest.

Peter Kassak is a member of this forum who has done much research on ZG 76 in the late war years. Searching for his name will bring up some relevant posts, e.g. between him and Peter Spoden regarding use of the Me 410 by ZG 76 in 1944.

I believe that he intends (intended?) to publish the history of ZG 76 from 1943 to 1945. I made a note to that effect some time ago, but can't find the source now.

Hope that helps,
Leon Venter

Very few documents like that exist for any Luftwaffe unit, unfortunately.

Also looking forward Kassak ZG 76 book . On 29-11-43 2 BF-110 G-3 of 7/ZG76 collided mid-air above the Hamlet OOstwold [Netherlands-Groningen Provence] . They were started in Ottingen ,however i have a document wich says Ansbach and they were first lead to area Frankfurt ,but then it still was clear that Bremen was target ,so at least 5 Bf-110,s directed in very bad flying weather for Bremen Hptmn Kiel -Lt Matzaek - Lt Trunner and Fw Schuler and one i can,t not find so quickly. They were lost last two mentiond of the others due icing Trunner and Schuler then collided. Trunner was the sole-survivor.
Other flightmembers returned safely

...any idea how to get into it? Nobody seems to publish this file on the internet!? Probably I have to beat it at BA in Freiburg.

Just for the sake of it.....

RL10/256 = KTB III./ZG 26 (29.07.43-31.12.43)
RL10/257 = KTB III./ZG 26 (01.01.44-30.09.44)
RL10/565 = KTB III./ZG 26 Anlagen (11.8.43-15.3.44, mainly mission reports)

Nothing to do with ZG 76.

John
