Fw 189 in Finnish markings...?
 
In february 1944 Finland asked to put Finnish markings on the german Fw 189(s) operating in the Uhtua segment in Finland. The answer, as you see below, was a yes. Did this ever happen?

As there are no answers, perhaps we may assume - although granted - that it never happened...?

Furthermore I must correct myself. Not the Finns asked for the Finnish markings on the Fw 189 but the Germans. They obviously wanted to conceal that they had troops in the Uhtua area, according to this document from 25.2.1944.

All the photos in the Finnish online military photo archive show them in German markings.
