War grave Info
Please can any one help me with a bit or research.
Whilst diving I have found a second world war 2 junkers88, I have spent hours looking for ifo on it, and I have found an unconfirmend sighting of it crashing into the sea. I need to find out where I can confirm if it is a war grave or if it is even known about. I have tried war graves socitiy and raf but no luck there, if any one knows where I can go for info please let me know! |
Re: War grave Info
Try to find out manufacturer plate on the engine and regard to this you have better chance to find something. I know what is the problem about as well there is some wreck in the Montenegro coast.

Re: War grave Info
On the engine? AFAIK engine data plates have no relation to airframes, as the engines were often changed. Data plate should be beow the cockpit frame.
What is the condition of the aircraft? Dave |
