there was a wooden propeller inside...
many thanks Marian |
Re: from what plane?
That's the serial number. There must be a figure starting with 9-xxxxx.x to see the model and a three lowercase letters code for the maker. Try to clean further

Re: from what plane?
Hi Marian, That number 9-41 141.11 is the Baugruppen-Nummer, or part number for that blade. It is definitely a German part with the BAL inspectors stamps and, the serial number. However, that 9-41 141.11 nummer is not shown in the 1944 VDM Ersatzteilleliste, the nearest there is 9-41 158.17 wooden blade in the BV138 Jumo 205D outboard motors. There is also a 9-41 146.11 blade listed with no application. Unfortunately, I do not have a listing for your blade and, I do not have the information if it is-or could be- a Junkers blade. Cheers

Re: from what plane?
Thanks Marian. I have reviewed the VDM data and, judging by the fact that it covers aircraft and engines back to the mid 1930's, I suspect that it is a fairly comprehensive list and it does not include your nummer. So, I would suggest that the 9-41 141.11 nummer is more likely to be a Junkers blade, from a Junkers propellor. You now need someone with the data for the Junkers Luftschraube. Best wishes
