Have two diaries that both mention the SASO Officer at 19 Group as Air Commodore Death
Just wondered if anyone else may have come across him and know his Christian name. Many Thanks Andy Bird |

For the USN, there was an Ens. Stanley Death in VF-29, credited with one victory on Oct 14, 1944. He went MIA on Oct. 29.

Related to Admirals Narborough (hence use of the name) and Cloudsley-Shovell.
Believe a brother was killed aboard HMS Gloucester when struck by a bomb from an Italian aircraft on 8 July 1940. Commonly shown as double barrelled as Hughes-D'Aeth. |
