R. Roller letter to R. Schroder - II./JG 3

In the book Fliegerhorst Schiphol Vol III. by Ab A. Jansen (pg 144-145), the author mentions a letter written by JG 3 pilot Robert Roller to the family of Lt. Rudolf Schroder who went MIA on 18-Oct-43. Jansen writes that he received a photocopy of the letter from the Schroder family back in September of 1993.

Might anyone have access to or be able to provide suggestions as to where I could obtain a copy of this letter?

The reason I ask is that in the letter, Robert Roller describes his attack on a B-24 Liberator - the very Liberator that my cousin was flying in. My cousin and his 9 other crewmembers are still listed as MIA. Their bomber, B-24D 41-23729, is likely at the bottom of the North Sea.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

I believe a large portion of Ab's collection is already at the Dutch Institute for Military History (NIMH) in The Hague. You could send them an email. Most collections are accessible. You could also send PM to Rob van den Nieuwendijk (member here) who collected a lot of material on II./JG 3 in The Netherlands.

Thanks, John! Both sound promising, I will reach out to both.
