Information concerning the loss of Oberfeldwebel Josef Hofbauer - killed 28.05.1944 over the west

Hi,

Can anyone provide details of the loss of Oberfeldwebel Josef Hugo Hofbauer who was an experienced flier in a bomber squadron with the EK I who was killed in an air battle on the 28th May 1944?

He was killed in the air over the western front.
