Lt. Joachim Möller (JG 54)
In his diary, edited by Hans-Ekkehard Bob (2006, p. 180), Hannes Trautloft mentions a lieutenant called Möller, saying that the handsome young Lieutenant
Möller made an emergency landing and froze to death. Apparently, it was Joachim Möller, about whom DeZeng and Stankey say: MÖLLER, Joachim. 10.02.42 Lt., 4./JG 54 KIA - Bf 109 F-4 (White 10) force-landed vic Tschumschatscha - possibly froze to death afterward. Credited with one victory. Do you happen to have a photo of him and maybe his date of birth? Thank you very much in advance. |
