152 Sqn action 27/2/40

Hi,

I'm not sure if I've asked this before, so apologies if I have.

In Fledgling Eagles by Chris Shores he mentions that Spitfires from 152 Sqn shot down a He111 off Coquet Island. Pliots were Plt Off J S B Jones and Plt Off T S Wildblood.

On looking up Wildblood in Aces High by Chris it states that Wildblood was flying a Gladiator during this engagment.

Anyone know which is correct?

Also did 152 Sqn claim a He111 shot down by Gladiators on 3 February?

I'd say the former is correct Alex. Ken Wynn in "Men of the Battle of Britain" also states the same as Shores.

I'll have a look in my materials and see if I have anything on the 3rd Feb action.
