I./K.G.76 14.09.1942 or 1943?
 

Hi,

looking at a loss record for I./K.G.76. In the loss report dated October 25. 1943 the date for this loss is given as September 14. 1942, in the loss report dated October 29. 1943 the loss date is reported as being September 14. 1943.

The latter is corrected and said to be stricken as they are identical (and indeed all other information concerning the loss is) in the corrections in the loss report of November 4. 1943.

I am inclined to believe the correct loss date is September 14. 1942, as the location is given as ostw.Wolchow and other losses for the unit dated September 1943 seems to be in the southwestern theatre (Italy), anyone have the NVM or other information to verify this?
