Ofw. Viktor Kemmer (KG53 / 6.NJG1)
Hi all,
I’m looking for information concerning Oberfeldwebel Viktor Kemmer. Online I already found some information about a crash he was involved in. I have some questions about two crashes he was involved in. 1)Can someone confirm that Hptm. Sattler was the bordgunner and add the Observers name? 5/8/1943 He111H-16 W.Nr. 161221 Stab KG 53 BS Sattler, Hptm. Fritz -- gefallen FF Kemmer, Ofw. Viktor -- verwundet ?? -- verwundet ** BF Fw. Thiele, Helmut -- gefallen ** BM Uffz. Eikmeier, Kurt -- gefallen Absturz, South of Nawlja 100% F 2)In 1943/1944 he switched to a Nightfighter unit and was killed on 23.11.1944 as part of 6.NJG1. The crash he was killed in was probably an accident on a transport flight killing multiple officers in the crash. Can someone shed some light on this crash and the men involved in it? I don’t know if Ofw. Kemmer was the pilot on this flight or just a passenger. Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Thomas |

Dear Leo and Matti,
Thank you both for the provided information! It is clear now to me that the information I had concerning his death and the involvement of multiple officers is incorrect. I wish you both a nice weekend. Kind regards, Thomas |
