Hptm. Franz Evers, NJG 2, shot down July 1944
 

Hello,
anyone has further details on Hptm. Franz Evers, RK as reconaissance pilot in 1941, being shot down and injured in July 1944 by british night fighter while being with NJG 2 (Type of a/c, WNr., location, etc) ?
As date, the the night of 4th or night 7th/8th of July is possible.

1944-07-08, 5./NJG 2, Ju 88 G-1, 710897, 4R+CN, Bei Creveceur
Flugzeugführer Hptm Evers, Franz, verletzt
Bordfunker Ofw Hamann, Heinz, verletzt
Bordschütze Ofw Haug, Alfred, verletzt
Absturz infolge Feindbeschuß. Bruch 100 %. Besatzung mit Fallschirm abgesprungen.
