I've got my copy last week. Valuable annexes (including an index), good technical part but the operational history is somewhat lacking. High printing and photo quality.

How extensive technical coverage?

Still page count could have been better used. I did not expect a detailed operational history, but was looking for something more structured. Well as the author do not read german, it's a rehashing from books that I mostly already own so that explain why it is disapointing (but not why it lacks conclusion on certain topics). For content if the annexes are worth it, there are chapters, that look likes appendixes that are almost out of place that I would have gotten ride of. Anyway if you don't like my review, read the book and make your own one.

Robert Forsyth's Osprey book on the type is due in November and will deal mostly with the operational side if it follows the series formula. Still only 96 pages though. |
