Question about MACR's
Hello,
Within MACR's there usually a list of crew names given with next of kin's names/addresses. Was it usual to give an airman name with two named as next of kin ? Or Why would a list of nine next of kin names be given with only eight crew names ? Why would a crewman's name not be included ? Would it be that it was not a US serviceman ? If so then why give his next of kin ? Alex |

Seems Childers just had two NoK names His IDPF might elaborate more but doesnt seem to be much more than he simply had two NoK names. File can be veiwed for free on archives.gov database now. |

Strange, doesn't work for me ? I get a list with the 15115 heading but all are for other different MACR's. Could not get 15113 or 15114 either but did get 15116 & 15117. What I did get from fold 3 was 15114 which had some pages of 15115 within it . Re Childers ( airman's name was Wooldridge ), yes it was Mother( Ruby Layne Childers, was Wooldridge ) and Sister( Lois Wooldridge Sale),different surnames due to divorce(mother) and marriage(sister). The macr with two nok's , While searching I found another for the 301st BG so it was not a singular entry as it showed there was more than one. Alex |
