Rodeo's 90 and 91 on 18th August 1942
 

During these two fighter sweeps in the Cherbourg and Griz Nez area, Allied forces lost three Spitfires whilst claiming to have destroyed one Fw190 and one He59 and probably destroyed one He115 and damaged one Fw190.

Does anybody know if there actually were any Luftwaffe losses during this day?

No He 115s but a He 59 was damaged and another shot down. Both from 2 Seenotstaffel. 7 & 9/JG 2 claimed 4 Spitfires with no losses

I had assumed that the He115 claim was a misidentified He59, so thanks for the confirmation.
