Hi,

This is the last book by this author.

Vojna jednej posádky (Slowakisch) Taschenbuch – 17. Juli 2017. Privately published.

War of One Crew. Book in Slovak describes fate of one 464.BG crew during training and missions overseas in MTO, and their last mission when shot down over Slovakia on 7.7.1944.

Here is an old post:

It looks like his website has not been updated since 2011.

OK it seems that Mr. Kassak has not implemented his plan for the Zerstörergeschwader. Too bad it sounded very interesting in his old thread. Iam not sure, but Mr. Vasco was also involved in the research?

Hi Chris,

Yes, I have the book. It is very good and extensive. Unfortunately not for the last years 1944-45.

@Steve:
Thanks for the info. This book series I had already seen where but forgot again. There are several of them. I think I should buy one of them, or better all of them.

Hi Guys,

Unfortunatelly the work on second installment of ZG 76 history is still ongoing...
I had more important project to finish, including description of operation Gardening (205 Group RAF mining Danube river) and some local Slovak projects, such as use of Mitchells and C-47s by Soviets to supply Slovakian Uprising (two volumes) and also book describing Romanian air campaign over Czechoslovakia (now in print)

Actually we work on a June 26, 1944 manuscript, describing the air battle of 15th usaaf over Europe that day...partially a bad day for ZG 1 and ZG 76, so bits and pieces would be included.

I still have a ZG 76 work in mind, looking for materials, documents, photos...Anyone willing to help, please feel free to contact me :D I am not aprofessional, and day has only 24 hours :D but to tell you, about 250 photos are collected, and 160 pages of manuscript down on paper...
regards

Peter

Hello, Peter!
All right, I can understand that. Too many other projects. I was afraid that you wouldn't finish the work on Z.G.'s anymore. I'm glad to hear that you plan to finish this story.
Yes you're right, I also have US documents of the 15th AF where you can see that the defense of the Reich brought great losses for the Z.G..
But I mean, this forum is great for your research and will certainly find all the information you need together.
Well then, I'm looking forward to your messages.

Markus
