I have an empty space in my listings concerning Ju 87G-2 WNr 492677.
Is there any information about the whereabouts of this plane?

Hello Roland,
I show Ju 87 G-2 (probably from D-5), WNr. 492677, Schlep.Gr.1, Lfl.10, as being destroyed in air raid on 45/01/31 at Fl.Pl. Posen (Poznan), Poland, 100% loss. My source is Luft. Losses East 45/01/20-31.

The 492xxx series seems to be built as G-2s form the beginning. Of course with the long-span D-5 wingset.

Hello Roland,

another source is the Gen.Qu. loss return 19 Feb 1945 item 46.
On 31 Jan 1945 twelve Ju 87 G-2 of Schleppgruppe 1 were destroyed at airfield Posen, 100% losses.
The Werknummern were:
490 181, 490 206, 490 226
491 210, 491 214, 491 215, 491 225
492 664, 492 677, 492 687, 492 691, 492 692.

Most interesting. Two questions, though:
1) How are cannon carriers supposed to be used as tow planes? Was the BK 3,7 cannon equipment removed? Was the Kurland pocket to be supplied?
2) Ten completely destroyed planes are a disaster. How did this happen? Some WNr appear in my list as "destroyed by Flak" which seems to be wrong. Was it a usual destruction by "Bombenwurf"? Any additional info would be welcome

to your question 2: the loss reason was Feindbeschuss (= enemy fire), not Bombenwurf.

Accordingto the Kriegsmarine War Diary, Posen was completely cut off by the Red Army on 25 January 1945.

Jan 31st '45 the Posen airfield was lost to the Red Army. So it seems artillery fire destroyed the Ju 87s. Not Kurland was supplied, but the Posen cauldron itself.
Does anybody know particular details about Schleppgruppe 1 and its equipment in Jan '45?

I still can´t imagine Ju 87Gs towing their gliders with BK 3,7 cannons.
