Hartmann during the Yassy campaign - e article

I'd like to point to excellent article written by Ivan Lavrinenko about Erich Hartmann's (over)claims during the Yassy campaign in late May/early June 1944. With the help of deepl or google translate the non-Russian speakers will be able to understand most of it as well:

Quote: " the German ace decided that it was time to take the magic barrier of the “250” number and announced six victories at once"
With such biased language by the author - like Hartmann decided, by onset, to "announce" the number of "kills" needed to reach a certain "festive" number - it's rather hard to consider him neutral and objective. More, tomorrow.

On the one hand, yes you have a point. On the other, well how nicely do you want it to be worded? Either the loss of an aeroplane took place or it didn't....
