Help translation + Information about 4 airmen
1 Attachment(s)
Dear all, am not Familiar with German language (I took just a course of 1 year, some years ago. Some words I can understand, but 99% of them no), so I do beg some help from natives and members of this Board, to identify (I do translate later) the meaning of the back of a photograph, please.
Lieber Gerchen (??) ! __________________________________________________ ___ Regarding the 4 mentioned airmen, what is known about a certain: 1- Joseph Kerr ? 2- Joachin Voigt (possibly 100% matched) VOIGT, Joachim. 05.12.41 Oblt., appt Staka 2./Zerstörerschule 2 (to 14.10.42). > via De Zeng and all 3- Ferri Blaschke ? BLASCHKE, Gerhard. (DKG). 21/22.06.42 Lt., 5./KG 2 unhurt - Do 217 E-4 (U5+TN) bailed out after receiving landing gear damage as a result of enemy fire. 24/25.07.43 Oblt., 9./KG 6 KIA - in Ju 88 A-14 (3E+MR) hit by AA fire near Mt. Etna/Sicily. 17.10.43 Oblt. in 9./KG 6, awarded the DKG. > Via De Zeng and all (LW Officers list 2019) 4- Kurt Schmeisser ? From those 4, apparently only Oblt Joaching Voigt is possibly a match. Maybe the others had accidents or survived? ANY help most welcomed A. |
