Hi!
KG 26 at Værnes, Norway, May-June 1940. Group picture of I.or II.Gruppe (?) Three photos of same Heinkel He 111 crew. Original photos found in album belonging to a Norwegian marine who served at Ramsund 5th May - 10th June 1940. His own comment : "Prisoners taken in Ballangen" (below the three crew members sitting on the wing). Can anyone help me identifying this crew or anyone on the group picture? Photos, or more likely the camera, confiscated when crew were taken POW. Date and incident unknown. Thank's a lot for your help. Regards, SOkland |

Possibly the Stab./KG26 crew of Oblt. Hartmut Paul, shot down on 24 May 1940. I have the crew listed as 2x KIA, 3x POW. Unfortunately I don't have pictures to compare.
Sources would be Håkan's website, Kracker Archive, and Fledgling Eagles. |
