Ju88 G6 W. Nr. 623186 - Any Loss Info?
Hey guys...
I suspect she was a damaged wreck, as opposed to complete loss. I think production would have been around late 1944 or early 1945. Anyone have further info? Crew, date, loss, etc? TIA Mike |

It's sister aircraft 623185 was one of several factory-fresh Ju 88 G found at Langensalza. It may very well be that 623186 was also one of these.

Re: Ju88 G6 W. Nr. 623186 - Any Loss Info?
Hello Mike and Roger,
I think that Roger has nailed the probable answer here. Among the twenty (many newly-assembled) Ju 88 G-6 night fighters that I have documented at Fl.Horst Langensalza (coordinates 51.129444 10.621667) are WNrn: 622457, 622710, 622891, 622985, 622986, 623000, 623165, 623181, 623183, 623185, 623186 (Mike’s aircraft), 623189, 623217, 623382, 623387, 623388, 623392, 623398, 623399, 623431, 623432. His Werknummer seems to dovetail nicely with the other 623xxx aircraft. Respectfully, Steve Sheflin |

Steve
Any dates? Were all captured ones or are you quoting German documents? Cheers Stig |
