Re: Fokker of KLM ?
Christian
This was Fokker F.VIIb/3m PH-AGR which due to heavy fog upon arrival to Tempelhof continued to Schönow instead. Normal landing was made but after landing the aircraft was damaged (hit soft ground?). Seems one of the engines took most of the damage, since afterwards the aircraft made a flight on two engines to Berlin-Staaken for repairs. The six passengers were transferred to Berlin by coach Cheers Stig |
Re: Fokker of KLM ?
Hi Stig
Thank you very much for the informations, great. The plane come down in Teltow, south west of Berlin on the border to Brandenburg. Schönow is northeast of Berlin, to far away. The day was with heavy rain, the land of the landing was very marshy. With the best wishes from Berlin, Christian |
Re: Fokker of KLM ?
OK Christian
I take it you are quoting perhaps from some German newspapers? Schönow was taken from a Dutch newspaper report. Cheers Stig |
