Uffz Werner Schumichen BF110 15(Z)LG1
Dear all,
I'm having an extension built at the moment and all my books are in storage. Can anyone access John Vasco's books on the 110 and let me know what details are included in it relating to Werner Schuminchen's 110 lost on August 13th 1940. I know its a long shot but a photograph of the aircraft and or Schuminchen would be much appreciated. Finally, I'm pushing my luck, does the book mention which squadron were involved in the combat that resulted in the 110 being shot down. Kind regards Gerry |

Hi Michel,
Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. Does the report mention the time that the combat took place? Also, do you know if a photograph exists of the aircraft or the crew? Regards Gerry |

Hi Nick,
That's really helpful, thank you. I had presumed that the combat was much later in the afternoon. That narrows it down nicely. Regards Gerry |

There are a number of shots of airborne L1+FL in the V./LG 1 book, one of Giglhuber. Not found one of the pilot

Hi Chris,
Thanks for pointing me toward that book. Its not one that I have in my collection. For confirmation sake is it the book by Ludwig Von Eimannsberger? Cheers Gerry |
