Ju 52 1Z+IZ
 

Hi Guys.
Can someone tell me to what Staffel/Unit this a/c belonged
It was 1Z+IZ with I in yellow. I cannot find the "I" in the units found in KGzbV.1.
It was used in the med theater. Does anybody where it was eventually found.
It had the name SEPP Geswind and was rebuilt by the SAAF.

The code '1Z+IZ' should refer to a machine from 15./KG.z.b.V. 1/TG 1. I don't specifically have a machine with that code in my db, but do have other '1Z's where the 4th letter is a 'Z'.

The 1Z code was used by KG.z.b.V 1 prior to its redesignation as TG 1 in mid-1943. British Intelligence tracked this particular aircraft during August-September 1942 whilst serving with with 15./KG.z.b.V. 1
