I don't suppose there is anyone out there that can decipher this. It's on the back of a photograph I have.

translates:
View from (illegible)
on the beach of Berck

It's a French spa on the Channel. At that time a base for the French Aéronavale.

Instead of "Strand von Berck", I'd say it could be "Kanal von Berck". But it's hard for anyone not versed in old German handwriting to guess it properly.

No, sorry, NOT "Kanal".
Strand is correct, definitely.
This german font is called Sütterlin.

You're right. But it's interesting to note that the first word - Blick - is not written in Sütterlin.
