the third photo of Me-109`s group shows an aircraft (red 5) from 2/JG51 in spring 1940.

219 markings

Hi All,
Whats the thoughts on the underwing markings on the 219,
Any ideas ?

Those markings for underwing were also used on Me-109 and Me-110 to help identify the Luftwaffe planes for Flak units. It not lived longer. Surely someone will help you with better details and even dates.
