This is a Levasseur navy plane, but I can't remember exact type.

Hi Bertrand,

Thanks. I hadn't appreciated how large the PL.101 was.

Hallo Bertrand

May I ask how you make your identification? I have never seen a PL.10 or PL.101 with a three-blade propeller before.
Personally I find it very difficult unless a very perfect photo shows up to identify any difference between a large number of Levasseur's naval aircraft.

Cheers

Good day Gentlemen,

This is a Levasseur all right but the type is 14, former sea plane used as land plane by various second line units. The picture has most probably been taken at Lanvéoc, the Naval Air Station of Brest.

Thanks Lucien

I have a hard time to see any difference between the PL 14 and PL 15 hence leaving no suggestion.

I now see that the PL 15 had a radiator sticking out underneath the engine which the PL 14 lacked.

Thanks again for the ID
Another headache gone.... :)

Cheers

Dear Mr Jarlevik,

There is other "cosmetic" differences between the PL 14 and the PL 15 but, effectively, the most obvious one is the positioning of the radiator(s); on the front of the lower wings for the 14 and under the "chin" for the 15.
