Help needed to identify aeroplane

Dear all,
Can anyone identify the aeroplane remains in the attached photograph?
I think it may be part of a Dornier fuselage.
It was taken in 1940.

Gerry

This doesn't look like an aluminum fuselage that has just crashed thru a pretty thick concrete building. The torn open edges of the part look fairly thick, like a steel casing of some sort.

Are we looking at a bomb damaged boiler or possibly some other building equipment that has crashed thru the ceiling and walls? It looks too large to be a bomb casing. The year 1940 precludes V1 or V2 components.

Cheers Revi,
That's certainly a possibility.
This photograph is part of a group relating to the Dornier that crashed on Victoria Station.
Thanks for your response.
Regards
Gerry

Damages sometimes look strange, in this case the massive left wall hv been blown-up nd wall in the right have even not been rippled, nd door looks in good shape also
