Gentlemen,

I'm trying to identify two signatures on a document that I acquired last year. The document appears to be a performance report leading to a promotion for Herbert Schob who won the RK.

The document has three signatures. First is a Leutnant and Staffelführer 1./Erg.Zerstörergruppe, looks like Lütter

second is signed by an Oberleutnant und stv. Gruppenkommandeur.

Gruppenkommandeure:
Hptm Adolf Edler von Graeve, 10.4.40 - 9.40
Obstlt Friedrich Vollbracht, 28.9.40 - 3.7.41
Maj Wilhelm Lessmann, 4.7.41 - 15.9.41
Unknown, 18.4.42 - 3.43
Hptm Peter Habicht, 17.9.43 - 11.1.44

The document is dated 19.2.43

Any thoughts ??

1./ErgZGr The Staffelführer was Lt. Johann Lutter.
The Gruppenkommandeure in 1942/43 were Hptm. Wilhem Schürmann and Maj. Alfred Druschel.

Thank you very much for that information,where did you dig this up ?
I should have checked through my binders, as I thought that one of the signatures is Lutter. I wrote to Lutter in 1988 and he sent me a signed photo attached to a copy of a booklet ( reprint ) that was printed at the time during the war for propaganda/morale purposes

Here is a copy of the document with the signatures
the one that is signed by the stv. Gruppenkommandeur. is the question, I think that he was a "temporary" commander and thus why we cant identify him

The signature at the bottom is that of Generalmajor Helmuth Mentzel Flughafen-Bereichskommando 2/VIII

Im sorry but I am a bit of a dinosaur as far as technology. In another forum I am able to just click on the photo and it automatically adds it here it is asking my for http://. So if I go to the image on my computer and right click on it? then what do I do?

So much can be found online, but there is nothing like sitting down with a book, a nice cigar, coffee or scotch and leisurely turning the pages!

In the text editor, you select the paperclip icon called 'Attachments' (between the smilies and 'undo' buttons), there you can upload pictures from your computer.
