Morane Saulnier MS.138 F-AQJF
Hello,
Currently on ebay there is a photo of a Morane Saulnier MS.138 at: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-6-Pz-Di...EAAOSw4KdecKrr Given the F-A visible on the wing and the JF on the fuselage in association with the location of the photo at Charville F-AQJF seems a likely candidate. Has anyone any further information on the unit operating F-AQJF at the time of the invasion of France? Regards, Clinte-aqjf |

Re: Morane Saulnier MS.138 F-AQJF
Hello Bertrand,
Thanks. Once again your image manipulation has proved very helpful. As you see from my post I couldn't see the QJF on the wings at all. This still leaves the question of where the aircraft served. Also I'd like to broaden the question out a little. The site at: airhistory.org.uk/gy/reg_F-19.html also gives a number of other MS.138, which like F-AQJF were loaned by the french state to civilian operators. Has anyone any details tying specific MS.138 with civil F-A*** codes to specific units in 1939/40? Regards, Clint |
