JG77 Bf109E colour home movie - August 1939

I posted this a couple of years ago but thought would do so again for new members.

This is a unique home movie of Bf109E's of JG77. Taken at Breslau in August 1939 as German forces were amassing along their border with Poland.

Shot by Hauptmann Hannes Traultloft on American Kodachrome film and ranks as the best known Luftwaffe colour film of the era. Trautloft flew in Spain in 1936 and also during Operation Barbarossa. Twelve months after this film was taken he was commanding JG54 in the Battle of Britain.

I have not added any time stamps as the whole film is worth watching.

The thumbnail can be expanded to full screen.
I hope you find it of interest
