Fieseler Fw190
Evening all.
Happy Easter. Can anyone confirm that the 581xxx is a Fieseler built example. Few years ago was helping with a crash site in Northern Germany. Fieseler? 581xxx range? Beleieved to be an A-8. Not sure if its an R2. June 1944 production? Anything else more on this block? regards MS |
Re: Fieseler Fw190
It's Arado-built Fw 190 F-8.

Were any of the 581xxx built be Fieseler? Information I've been given is its Fieseler rather than Arado and no evidence of outer wing ETC's. regards MS |
Fieseler Fw 190
Hello Mark
The 681-series Werknummer block of Fw 190 A-8 fighters, including 30-mm MK 108 armed Fw 190 A-8/R2 versions, were built by Fieseler at Kassel from July 1944 through September 1944... perhaps this is the range you are interested in? Horrido! Leo |
Re: Fieseler Fw190
This is the prefix of a Late spring 1944 produced Arado FW 190F-8 not Fieseler. May I refer you to Bookies website on FW 190 production number project.

Re: Fieseler Fw 190
Hello Leo. I don't mean to be disrespectful but informative. The R-2 and R-8 production versions of the FW 190 were in production since the A-7 643401 in February 1944- A-8 683040 in February 1945. Good hunting!
Sincerely. |
Re: Fieseler Fw190
Morning,
Mark VIII - can you send me a link to the Bookers website. This will be hand to see. Its definitely a 581xxx A-8 I am trying to find out more on. I will have to look back on the Fieseler connection. regards, Mark |

Re: Fieseler Fw190
Gents,
I haven't updated my FW 190 website in a decade, but there is a slightly more modern version of the Werknummer listing available as a Word document, here: http://fw190.hobbyvista.com/werkn.doc. Please note that this document is a little out-of-date as well - I have gathered a lot more material since I put it on my website. Lots of credit must go to the research of Peter Rodeike, plus support and encouragement from David E. Brown and various others who kindly helped out with that project more than a decade ago. Cheers, Andrew A. |

Re: Fieseler Fw190
The daily Fiesler Fw 190 production lists are on the Navy microfilms at US NASM. These are by W.Nr. I can't remember how late they run. The printouts are in my files, but have been in the hospital most of the last week (not corona, not life threatening) so my mobility to get to files is limited.
Best Regards, ArtieBob |
Re: Fieseler Fw190
Mark,
The 58xxxx series was built by Arado. The whole series seem to have been built from recycled parts. It could very well be that sub parts had Fiesseler dataplates. I hope this answers your question. Dennis |
Re: Fieseler Fw190
They seem to have been all F-8 versions.

Re: Fieseler Fw190
Dennis,
That's interesting. Thanks. regards, Mark |
