Fw200 in Operation Anton
 
Dear fellows, can somebody know how many Fw200 Condor actuate in Operation Anton, are photos of this planes with the white bands in wings? Gracias and keep safe!

If there are any they would be in my book on the Condor. As to numbers I am not certain as they were already operating in that region

Carsten Petersen, Operation Anton was the invasion of Free Zone or Vichy France. For this operation German planes used a white band in upper and down sufaces of wing.Attachment 19376

Very interesting ... was painting white stripes on wings a requirement for those invading France?

I cannot find any photos with wing stripes although photos I have from KG 2 show stripes on the upper and lower wing outside the engines, lower cowling and tail of Do 217s
