Currently on ebay are a series of photos of 48 squadron aircraft at:

also Airco DH.9A E714 a post war aircraft with 110 Squadron.

Have to partly disagree.

I am hesitant that DH.9A E714 ever belonged to 110 Sq. I know from where you have got the information, but every other source I have is silent about E714. No information at all.
Also I am not at all certain this is E714 in the first place. The digit "1" is more or less 100% hidden in the shadow and it could actually be anything.

With regard to the Snipe we hit the same obstacle. I agree with E820 but the last digit could be a 3 but personally I prefer a 5. BTW No 48 Sq was never equipped with Snipes. Your (our source) has a printing error where he lists 48 Sq, What should be in there, is 43 Sq which is correctly listed on the next line.
If you look at E8205 you will see it basically ended its days with 70 Sq when it crashed at landing at Bickendorf 3 March 1919. This looks very much like our picture. If you also look at 70 Sq wartime markings, their three white stripes are vey prominent. I agree I have only so far seen double digits, one on each side of the roundel, but I think that is only because we never seen any of their aircraft No 1-9, but now we are looking at one... :)

Finally The Brisfit E2415 has to be 48 Sq, I agree with that. Since 48 Sq is known to have visited Bickendorf regularly (rather than based there), we can thus understand why the aircraft is in an album like this. Perhaps most photos were taken post armistice at Bickendorf?
