333 Squadron Catalina 1942
Hi guys
I've checked with TNA but can't find an ORB for 333 Squadron for 1942. I'm trying to find that actual date in August 1942 when two Norwegian SIS men were delivered to Russia. Identity of Catalina pilot would be a bonus. Cheers Stay safe Brian |
Re: 333 Squadron Catalina 1942
333 Sqn was not formed until May 1943
Before that you want to look for 1477 Flight and before Feb 1943 something called the Norwegian Detachment On the 10th August 1942 210 Sqn Catalina flew two passengers on a special flight to Archangel AH559 N They returned on the 12th August https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ils/r/D8393492 Regards Martin |
