Ju88 - He111 shoot down, 03 May 1941, 23 Squadron
 

Good morning all,

This will be a series of questions and grateful for everyone's help. I am trying to locate information on the 2x German aircraft that were shot down from this engagement, crew, aircraft, unit etc please?

I am aware these cannot be 100% but if anyone can match these up and I would be very grateful.

4 AC F/LT Hoare; Sgt Raffles, F/O Ensor, F/SGT Burton carried out offensive patrols in Lille area. F/LT Hoare attacked & damaged on J.U. 88 & one H.E. 111 over LILLE.

They claimed quite a number after midnight 3-4 May 41 (two destroyed, two probables and two damaged) and from what I can see, nothing jumps out apart from a 4./KG 53 He 111 which crash-landed at Lille-Vendeville, no reason given
