Vickers Wellington movements - factory to Squadron delivery.

Hello Forumites
I am researching aircraft production and the subsequent delivery of those aircraft to the squadrons. For example, were the early Wellington’s issued to squadron service in the late 1930’s, collected by squadron pilots from Brooklands as at that time, there was no ATA organisation.

Hi Andy. The first Wellington I L4215 was collected by 99 Sqn. crews from Brooklands on 10 Oct. 1938; I don't think the ATA started full-time ferrying services until 1940 as they'd been on transport duties .
