Evacuation of Corsica, 1943

Hi,

Colleagues,
Please help me find out which Luftwaffe units were involved in the battles in Corsica and in the evacuation from there in September - October 1943 and what their losses were.

You can download the ULTRA files for the period free from the National Archives. The references covering those two months are DEFE 3/336 – DEFE 3/354 inclusive. These contain many messages about the Luftwaffe's involvement in the evacuation.

There may not be a ready-made answer to that but if you start reading the material that I suggested you may be able to get an idea of the numbers.
