Hello all

When did he claim his last two "Abschusse" (59.)(60.):2 Mig-3? with IV/JG51 ?
The sources I consulted are silent.

Checking Bergström and Mathews they differ about Bob

Mathews gives a total of 57 while Bergström says 60.
However they both include his final two claims

56 (59) 26.9.1943 IV./JG 51 Yak-1 south Jaulschekrak (Yanchekrak south-west of Mirgorod at 4000m) 16.37H
57 (60) 27.9.1943 IV./JG 51 La-5 ENE Tsusslowka (Tsisslovka at 2500m)13.32H

And before you ask, Mathews says Bob's claims on 4 and 9 Sep 1940 plus 17 April 1943 were all unconfirmed!

According to Bob HIMSELF,the B-17 was officially approved by the RLM.
