Andrew Jefferson Lowe III does not appear in the 1941, 1943 or 1944 USNR registers, nor does he appear in the 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1945 USN registers . . . my bet, and it's been many years since I've seen the movie, he's supposed to be Doug Moulton, Halsey's flag secretary and, later, air ops officer.
