Hi

A He111 made an emergency landing on the frozen lake Skaumsjøen near Berkaak, apx. 80 km south of Trondheim in Norway. The acccident happened in 1943 acccording to sources, but as always this need not be correct.
The plane was dismantled and brought down to the nearest road.

Hi Morten
On 9th December 1942 a Heinkel He 111 H-6 from I./KG 26 belly landed south of Trondheim. The crew were safe. Could it be this you are looking for?
Uncertain registration because Lufttorpedogruppe I./KG 26 had in fact left Norway in November 1942. A left over aircraft still in this country?

GQM dated 9-12-42 page 3 just has - 8-12-42 crash landing following bad weather 'H' flight He 111 H6 w.n. 7083 55% I/KG 26 south of Drontheim . No crew details so no injuries same werk nummer given in KG 26 history .

Our fight comrades of Norway, already noted that declaration of losses occured quite ....some minuts after that event arrived !!!
