A very late contender, built in, probably, february 45 ! by Ago in Oschersleben or somewhere near .

Remi, thank you. I recently obtained the main data plate for this airplane; the plate came home with a GI. It is marked "jhe," so an AGO machine.

Anything related to its use and outcome in service would be a plus. So far, other than a possible linking with JG 54, nothing - a mystery machine.

Other uses for AGO A-8s were on Mistel weapons. on Classic publication 7 Mistel. A quote from Pg. 130 indicated 12 Mistel2s were complete by Dec 12, 1944. these had A-8s as the control aircraft. 20 were ordered finished by Jan. 15, 1945.
Oberleutnant Werner Baumbach insisted that 50 more be constructed by February15, 1945.

An example are AGO 739621 on JU 88 714790. Also Mistel S2 construction No. 590153 with AGO A-8 739635 on top.
