Whirlwinds photos are very rare....and when they do appear from the other side of the wall, with serial and codes...

Based on the date, I'm guessing this had to be one of the last Whirlwind losses.

well someone really wanted them, they went for

185 euros & 164 euros

well outside my hobby budget
but at least i have some 'free' ebay listing photos saved now
like a few othe people most likely

Interesting photo and one that confirms comments I have read that the fuselage on Whirlwinds broke behind the cockpit which often allowed the pilot to escape serious injury.
