Unauthorized Hurricane flight 10/9/40

Hi

I have a note that Czech Aircraftsman Albin Pastor (787057) of 310 Squadron, Duxford, carried out an unauthorized flight in a Hurricane on 10 September 1940.

Did he crash? Did he survive?

Any details appreciated.

I assume he did.

The aircraft crashed on take off with damage to undercarriage, radiator and wing.

RAFCommands has

Hurricane V7405 at Duxford 10th Sept 1940 with an AC2 at the controls but this was a flight by an unauthorised Czech ground crew who was AC2 A Pastor 787057.
