437 IAP on 03/02/43

Hello all

According to a source,that day,four La-5 (437 IAP) were shot down (+ two damaged)
by II/JG52.

Nothing of this in tony wood's list
Nothing in JVD 9/II (Prien)

Who shot down these La-5?...or the date and events are wrong??

Michel,
out of those 437 IAP planes, Aleksei Andreevich Dolgov and Dmitrii Ivanovich Starukhin were KIA in a dogfight with enemy fighters on 03.02.1943. Enemy unit is not mentioned. (Few weeks later, on 20.04.1943, 437 IAP La-5 (S/N: 37210375, engine no.65022210, #75) was lost with Sergei Yulyanovich Yasanis while escorting eight 190 ShAP IL-2 Sturmoviks.)

37210679 was one of the 437 IAP La-5s lost on 3 Feb 43.
