OBLt.Fritz SCHLEIF

Hi,
I'm very interested in the 2.Staffel JG 26 (and the predecessor of this Staffel).
J. Priller and D. Caldwell state in their books that OBLt. Fritz SCHLEIF (26.4. 1910) commanded this Staffel from 21.2.36 to 28.2.37.
Can someone please confirm this information to me?
Hptm. F. Schleif member (Z)/LG 1 was killed on 7.9.1939 in Poland.

Hi,
I asked this question because of the information about this pilot in the Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries
(Henry L. deZeng IV and Douglas G. Stankey) do not confirm his participation in the I.Gruppe Jagdgeschwader Schlageter.
