Luftwaffe raids on british Heraklion evacuation force, 29 May 1941

I'm looking for info about which were the Luftwaffe bombers units (or even specific airplanes) that attacked the british convoys of the evacuation force from Heraklion on 29th May 1941.

Especially the casualties occurred to HMS Hereward, Orion and Dido.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance

Are you familiar with "Luftwaffe War Diaries" from Cajus Bekker?

Guess, this is a good start if you are not.

Believed to have been caused by III./StG 2 (led by Maj Heinrich Brücker) between Crete and Scarpanto but the actual sinkings were credited, so I believe, to Italian S-boats

The British Admiralty War Diaires are available online at www.archives.org

JODA,

I forgot to mention that it has been some 25 years that I read the book of Cajus Bekker; but I remember a well written text about the Kreta affair and the sinking of RN ships by Bf 109 E, Ju 87, etc...

It may not have the information you are looking for and therefore, I do appologize for the bad memory, ok? It is, nevertheless, a nice reading.
