Hurricane IIb BG790(?), Carelia 1942

Hello!

Reread recently archive materials of a old case of Soviet Hurricane which crashed in Carelia August 1942. I would like to pose some questions concerning it.

The RAF code may, repeat may have been BG790. Couple of digits (second letter and first number) are guessed to fit Mk IIb subtype.

From the crash place was recovered a "photographic apparatus" according to a Finnish infantry unit diary. No mention if this was handheld camera or something bigger.

Does anyone have pre-VVS history for this Hurricane (use/user/modificatons)? Is aircraft movement card or such available?

The Soviet unit most likely has been 17 GShAP or 760 IAP or very unlikely 118 ORAP (Northern Fleet).

Thanking in advance,
Kari
